Toddler Academy Printables

Sometimes it's the simplest things that may letters or spelling click for kids,
Shape based learning is very helpful when doing the alphabet, as well
as building on the basic letters they learn first.
The Popsicle stick and a round cap are great tools for helping.
THE ONE THING YOU HAVE TO BUY YOUR CHILD FOR LEARNING TO
WRITE THE ALPHABET ....... A LARGE PENCIL
They need the large size to have their fingers and hands adapt to holding a pencil,
and make sure you enforce holding it correctly.
Other tools that will help them progress to a standard pencil are squishy balls,
the more they squishy the more adaptability they will have with the pencil.
Make some bean or rice bags to toss around also,
If you need a toss game to make, email me.
They will squeeze on them and play with them and strengthen their hands and fingers.
Crayons - start with large ones then graduate to small ones.
You can reinforce the good habits while they are using the bigger tools.

I'm going to feature the Alpha-Numera book here for T2L (Time to Learn)
I'll be linking up pages periodically, comments are welcome

Note:  Montessori program uses "O" verbiage instead of circle.
I prefer to use "shape verbiage" as the "O" may not be in their realm yet,
LOL, unless they are watching OVERSTOCK commercials.
