This blog will show some of my creations including crafts, art, gardening, furniture remakes, basically a modge-podge of all the things I love to dabble in. Oh and of course my extensive family of hairy creatures and feathered friends will be showcased, in their made with love ensembles that I have such fun creating. I am a virtual magnet for dogs and cats, I also have a very beautiful African Grey Parrot who has quite an extensive vocabulary as well as counting skills.
I have an extensive list of interest, including God, without whom I would surely not be here today; books, (I love to read); card making; ornaments; altered books; Victorian anything, cottage and shabby chic. I love to repurpose anything. I absolutely love music, all kinds except the 3 letter word that begins with an R and ends in P. I prefer "singing" not someone zinging around spouting off all kinds of ridiculous elements and alot of words I would prefer to not hear! (Enough said about that). I love to garden, both vegetables, herbs and flowers (even weeds). I make herbal salves and occasionally tonics, and I am a firm believer that there is a cure for every illness if we just search hard enough for it.
I am Southern by the Grace of God, and I do not really care for Grits (unless they have sugar on them and butter); but I love oatmeal (not forina). I juice with 2 different types of juicers, and I love being able to make my own concoction of V8 juice!
I'll try to make this list more concise at a later time, because I can talk the ears off a mule (per a friend of mine in his 80's), and my writings tend to be the same! (I'm working on that).
I also love to see what other people make, and I love the Faerie World, they have a special place in my heart and in my garden and home. I'll be sharing what beautiful creations I find on my web jaunts here as well.
